Singing Performance Class Details
These Ongoing Classes are weekly intensives that will facilitate you in discovering & empowering your unique voice using the craft tools of acting, the techniques of voice, and the breath/movement/sound practices of yoga.
Each class begins with a group warm up designed to support risk taking and to facilitate Tuning-In to your authentic voice on all levels: physical, mental, emotional & creative/spirit. This warm up is followed by individual work sessions.
Class size is limited to 7 — every student works individually every week. Class is supported by a piano accompanist.
Current accompanists include: Reece Marshburn,(of Moonvine Music) Tim Ribner & Dan Gaynor.

Michelle Kopper Seymour, Owner of Vanport Square Studio, combines 25 years as a
professional actor/singer with 15 years of yoga & dance meditation
to bring unique insight to her coaching approach. After teaching,
coaching and performing in Manhattan for 16 years, Michelle returned to
Portland in 2004 with her passion for teaching and a strong commitment
to her own artistic process to reunite with this vital community of
performers. She is committed to facilitating students with integrity,
sensitivity and compassion. Michelle is a proud member of Actors Equity
Association, Screen Actors Guild and Portland Area Theatre Alliance
where she currently serves as President.
